    Earthquake (19 November) .Where was it?

    I felt it in Otaki....where was it centred though?

    Wellington has just been shaken by an earthquake.

    The 5.1 earthquake shook central Wellington at 7.05am this morning, lasting for around 15 seconds.

    It was also reportedly felt by residents in Manawatu and Taranaki.

    That was nothing! (Although.. exciting for Palmy)
    I was in Gisborne for that epic one that opened up the ground etc...

    Palmy one was average to poor... I felt my bed shake and could hear the water swishing around in the hot water cylinder. Dogs didn't even wake up... useless..

    An earthquake has shaken residents in Manawatu, Wellington and Taranaki this morning.

    The magnitude 5.1 quake struck at 7.04am was centred 10km south of Palmerston North and 40km deep.

    It was felt throughout the North Island.

    Was there an earthquake? Never felt a thing, and according tot he time, I was chugging a coffee...

    I was half awake and half asleep laying in bed.. Didnt hear it coming but then heard the items on the wall movin about and then BAM!!! Fuckin woke me up!!!

    So i got up and watched tv and then BAM! in comes the aftershock. Only just felt it though..
