That's good. Brian left the humble kwaka off the list. lol

    Thanks to the organisers!
That's two chch protest rides now and would do it again.
Whatever it takes..., the thieving b'stards.

But like a previous post, I too got asked by a woman winding down her window "whatye riding for?"
I didn't see any t-shirts or signs. So something to think about for next time.

Thanks for the photo's & video...

One important thing no one has mentioned - as far as I am aware there were no accidents or injuries during this run.

So everyone, thanks for riding safely.

in the past 30 days of protesting, there have been thousands of bikes on the road doing what was done on this ride.
    Orderly well behaved riders,
Only ONE incident has been reported during thse rides so far.

What does this say about the facts being presented by the ACC and Dicky Smutt re our danger to others on the road?
    bull shit

Another idea could be to just stagger the risk eg register for 3 months and put the bike on hold for the following 3 months then register for the next 3 months etc.
Register for 3 months/yr if you get ticketed register the next day and write an excuse to the cops.

Yeah it was a good ride into town, there were ones who had never ridden in a ride like that but did bloody well and there were no accidents so well done and give yourselves a pat on the back. If i find out anymore about a national protest then i will keep you guys informed and also another local one as well (if people are keen to do another one), let us know your thoughts and any ideas of how we could have more of an impact. i am happy to put another ride together.

Wonder if there'll be any tickets in the post for the procession continuing through red lights in the city centre.

I figured since the cops got us underway through red lights, that they were in town holding up traffic at the lights too. That's why I followed the pack through officer...

traffic control probably turned the cameras off under advice from the controling officer. I doubt any tickets would be issued.

how a bout just a ride by, from watching the vidio taken at Halswell Junction rd, the riders were very well behaved. a similar type of ride starting from the Esplanade in Sumner, which would be a great gathering point for this, from there up Humphreys Drive to linwood ave, and so on
destination can be antwhere, but on a Sat a route that was around the mauin shopping centers, as just a ride by, would expose us to a large public area. Evn better if it was a very wam day just befoe Xmass.
