Would be interesting to see the report, does anyone know of Directioneering Ltd? Googling brings up very little apart from a yellow pages listing and a business networking site profile on the managing director (and possibly only staff member) Graeme Duhs which reads...

    Graeme Duhs’s Specialties:
Outplacement and Career Support. Works with executives at the most senior levels to staff at all levels.

Press release was sent out to all parties at the same time - those among the first to publish are obviously the ones with their finger on the pulse

Wharfy, if that name is indicative, you should know that any review involving staffing levels etc MUST include a process of consultation with the parties

Unless I'm mistaken, MNZ will continue to be run by the Board, and the staff in the office in Huntly will do their best to carry out those decisions

I'm sure there will be some that will see a hidden agenda - fact is the entire operation was reviewed by an OUTSIDE, UNBIASED Specialist in this area with a view to creating efficiencies in the good ship MNZ which was, lets be honest, LEAKING money........
Any business that spends almost half its total turnover on wages ALONE is in trouble, and it would have been piss-poor management not to investigate
Lets hope that those who have been shown the door go quietly and that more money ( that comes from MNZ members pockets ) doesnt get leaked in legal action. I hope that those who have been discarded arent going to be ruthlessly and selfishly out for all they can get via legal action. If they do so then it is up to the motorcycling community to treat them like lepers.

When I first read this MY license was with MNZ, I had just applied to get it back (after my wee ambulance ride ) - My immediate selfish reaction was - I hope the office is still working, I need my license back for the Tri-series.
It arrived the next day -

Restructuring can be very stressful and disruptive (even for those that survive)

Thanks to the MNZ staff for keeping the wheels turning

MNZ Changes - Wow, that's interesting

    http://www.nzherald.co.nz/motorsport...ectid=10612110

From Eric Thompson at the herald

Motorcycling New Zealand has "disestablished" Paul Pavletich and Jill de Thierry from their roles as chief executive and administration manager. "After a detailed operational review of its current staffing structure and requirements, the board of Motorcycling New Zealand, acting on the recommendations of HR company Directioneering, have moved to restructure their organisation," it said. The changes will take effect immediately.

Who knows more about the restructuring then? (edit - so there's another thread, It was nice to see Eric Thompson writing this article since he wrote the last article that seemed misinformed and issued after the thing had been put to bed. He must have got a few emails after the last one)
