    Interesting replies...

    IMHO the best way to start racing is really fast... I've watched a lot of races and usually the person in front wins it (unless it is yachting) and without fail they all try to start really fast...

    Not what you wanted to know but it might come in useful later.

    Ill edit my opinion here. .
    If ya don't wanna 'ride what ya brung' in clubmans--In my opinion definitely the way to test the waters then definitely try bucket racing.
    Itll teach you a heck of a lot about passing,crashing,lines etc but in a slower (usually) enviroment
    To see a life newly created.To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
