I have a Reg'd & WOf'd very reliable 1985 GSXR400 I am wanting to do a straight swap for preferably a CBR150 but will consider swapping for a FXR150.
This bike would make an ideal step up for someone who has just got their full licence and wanting to get a more fun bike to ride. It's a light nimble, fast when required while remaining very easy to work your way through traffic on during peak hour traffic. I have done numerous cruisy rides with 750 -1000cc rides and its been able to keep up quite comfortably.
The reason for the swap is I do bucket racing, which I won my grade in and am moving up a grade and my current bike just aint going to be fast enough unless I spent some serious coinage on her..
The GSXR400 is the Grandaddy and baby of the GSXR line. They were the first bike Jo Public could afford without selling their house, soul and various organs in the process and go out a win races on. I rebuilt it last summer and have used it almost every day up until about a week ago.
At present I am dressing it with nice fairings etc and it will get a complete service plus a fresh WOF for the new owner.
I have recently brought myself a new commuter and now have this bike surplus to requirements. As much as I have enjoyed riding the bike it's time for someone else to own.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.
