Toy run - Central Districts Motorcycle Touring Club (5 Dec 2009)

Saturday 5 December 2009

Central Districts Motorcycle Touring Club Inc annual Toy Run for Barnardos.

Leaving Feilding Town Square at 1pm, for a back roads ride to Palmerston North. Please bring Christmas gifts of children's toys or books to donate to Barnardos.

There will be a sausage sizzle and social gathering at the end of the ride and toy run badges will be on sale.

This ride is open to everyone so bring your mates along. Last year we had about 100 bikes so this run is well supported. Let's see if we can make this year even bigger and better!

It is aimed at everybody having a good time so do come and join in the fun.

Fancy dress is recommended to embody the true spirit of the day

and so we can take the mickey out of each other too

I plan to be attired as Santa's little helper and take lots of pics and employ the laxed out approach on the pillion seat and let somebody else do the hard work

My bike likes the three points speed far too much

and after the run this weekend will deserve a little snooozeee

I may or may not be there - depending on whether I can drive or not - had a wee tumble down the stairs as I was about to interview the mayor last Friday and got a free ambulance ride to hospital! Can't use my left hand at the moment so stuck at home!
