An older bike thats seen a few ks but still going strong.
The things I like about this bike is that it has been very reliable, comfortable upright riding position, good seat for pillions and fairly light and nice to handle considering the style of bike.
Fairly recently had new swing arm, clutch, chain, sprockets, plugs and some other work (I have a stack of receipts). The battery isn't very old but doesn't hold charge well over a large period (e.g. a week) now because previous owner let it sit for a couple of months. Finding neutral sometimes requires a bit of a nack, otherwise appears very sound mechanically. The left hand side indicator droops down a bit and the badges are missing, doesn't look too bad though. Has current Wof and rego.
I've decided I'd like to have a go at motorsport either in the form of bucket racing or rallying, don't really want to sell the xj but need some revenue from somewhere.
