thanks you lot for all the encouragement. Shit i hate typing with one hand! it really is like what all the experienced riders tell you...Once you put on the lid you switch your brain on 100% of the time. I thought since i was going slow I could relax a bit. Utter crap! If you can't be on it all the time, don't ride! It's not worth it.

And never break your pelvis! hahah it's the worst bone I've broken to date.

As for the bike...the rear end is pretty much at a right angle to where it should be. I'll try and get the wife to put photo's up. They are cool to see. Hopefully I get walking tomorrow and I can piss off outa here.

The most important things I learnt from my second bin was that I did not learn from my first and don't have a third.

What I learn't from my third....

One in four people are unbalanced. Think of three friends - if they seem OK then you're the one!

haha love it. So far insurance has been sweet. The called as soon as they got the fax form and the bike was picked up on Friday, and started to be gone through today. Will be interesting to see what they come up with.

almost forgot Pictures in my profile

They're all from the back since they're the most impressive but the front did get some damage.

    Update about the body:

Home from hospital today and still waiting for CT scan on hand so they know if they need to operate. Got sick of being there so told them I was leaving.

Apparently I ended about 20m from the impact (flying most of it), not the 10m I 1st thought (wife maybe exagerating though), so not bad in only 2 breaks in the hand and 2 in the pelvis. We worked out I hit the ground once. I was told landing 1m sooner would have meant I would've hit the concrete pipe under a driveway A little more luck I think.

I was trying to go over the crash in my head the other day. Thought it would be good rehab and I was bored It's amzing how much I remember and even remember the imact I had on my head and what I said when I hit the culvet (boy that knocked the wind outa me). The feeling is crazy going over it again. And kinda funny that it was a quiet, clear "shit" that I remember the instant I realised I hit the hole.

...That's because you keep on telling her "things" are twice as long as they actually are!

Glad you doing ok, looks to be quite a narrow road and prolly not a lot of room for error on a corner with a car as well. Take care n catch you up.
If you don't know where you are going , any road will get you there ............
