    Greetings from Thailand

First chance I've had to sit down at an Internet cafe for any length of time.

I've attached just a couple of images from Bangkok where I was for three days. Bloody hot , busy, noisy and really smelly in places. Only worth staying for a couple of days. Local carnival was good. Shooting galleries run by the army so no ball bearing/slug rifles. Everything was .22. Converted M16's, ruger revolvers and bolt actions.

Only half decent bike riding around is the Honda Phantom, a 200cc single. Local laws prohibited anything over 250cc being made locally.

Notice I have alot of PMs/emails. Sorry, no time to deal with them. Wari is always ready to help.

Hey Spank. Have fun in Thailand - check out some kickboxing if you have time. Don't eat or drink anything from the roadside stalls.

Well it's my last day of three in Pattaya. Today I go to Udon Thani. Pattaya is a real tourist town and I'm looking forward to the quiet of Udon which you are not unlikey to see many non Thais there.

I've attached photos of one of the many, many places you can hire every kind of jappa inline four & cruiser. I hired a fireblade for 1000 baht for the day. Iffy brakes and chained rattled a bit but went fine. Got clamped (well, a chain and padlock) for parking in a no parking zone that day. Sore the copper doing it, but he just said "no parking" and walked off. My girlfriend (Thai) said to slip him 200 baht which I did and he came back and removed the chain.

Just after I hired the fireblade I spotted at another bike hire what is probably the only sport v-twin in Pattaya. A Honda SP-2 which I hired the next day for 1500 baht and it was mint. It's cheaper if you hire for a longer period, but I was only here for three days. Got the 400 baht ticket for dangerous driving on the SP-2.
