    Ditto- born in Westport. Spent every Xmas at my G/parents house for years and surfing with mates there after. My Grandad was a self taught engineer and a local bridge builder. Built the first bridge at Ngakawau and many others. Looks like only one for lunch now as the wife not impressed with the forecast.

    Was a very good lunch I thought. Was great to see everyone enjoying themselves.

    Pity the weather let us down a bit, but too bad. Still worked out well I thought.

    Saw the rabble

    Coming back through Taylorville while I was with my bunch. Mates on guzza's and duc's with their noses in the air........ Good thing the bloke and his lovely lady on the bright orange bike recognise their mates when they see them....

    RQ will NOT wave furiously next time

    ummm... to be honest we came around that corner to see you guys all of a suden, visabilty was poor and everyone would have been wet and cold... letting the bars go to wave would have been low on the pority list... no one waved at me?

    Mmmmm, the only thing I remember about Taylorville is following GB, lots of bikes parked up, and the nice policeman coming the other way.

    Absolutely! The Duc was running real rough due to the rain and i recall seeing all the bikes wondering "why have they all stopped there" then, by the time i realised it was NOT our group, i was past.
