    Plastic repairs

    hi all
i repair and fix abs fairings pretty much like these guys
    http://empiregp.com/?page=106&eType=3
    but in Dunedin

I dont do the paint /undercoats

And all for a box of beer/ bourbon/ gas or something
I can do this anywhere!! (with 240v power)with my portable welder or give me said part and ill fix it at work
i will ll try and get some pics of the work ive done/ doing

also im looking into doing my own vacuum forming !! the setup at work it way to time consuming to justify beer
    2 hrs + for setup

modds if this is in the wrong place notify me plz

im quite a lot cheaper than replacement items

plastic fabricator/welder here if you need a hand ! will work for beer/bourbon/booze

Good luck in your new business if you ever need any info on painting or repairs send me a note I would be glad to help you out. I learned everything the hard way and I am more than willing to share some of my mistakes with you. I am pretty lucky it has been almost 9 years since starting EmpireGP I have made many good friends in the motorcycle community and managed to make a buck and save my customers money...Good luck ....Bob

Was thinking of putting some wider dirt bike bars on my TLS,which would mean cutting the fairing, you would be able to do this?Still have to source some bits etc so wont be just yet.

    hi
the plastic welders range in price from a 300 dollar trademe one to a 5 amp leister 800 bux, most plastic can be welded of you purchase the welding rod that is of the same material
fairings are commonly abs so you use a abs welding rod etc etc
welders are easy to use, practice on scrap first
