Remember - there is now an anti-cruising law. This means that you ride in that street the police might prick up and decide that you were cruising!

If everyone, in their pocket, had a note saying that they were invited to the address to protest the ACC levies. Note made by someone like the "Reduce ACC levies lobby group". Then they would not be cruising but going to a meeting.

I have said this elsewhere on KB and I will say it again... I used to flat with one of JK's press secretary's they are signed up to every forum imaginable, including this one. Sometimes they just have "friends" watching and reporting on forums for them.

I am willing to take a bet that they saw our intention of showing up and decided to stop us.

It's a public road and I am sure there will be motorcycles lawfully parked having a chat on it from 5pm onwards. Come and have a bit of a catch up with us.

yeah well - starting out as a clearly public meeting, then closing the doors, it smells of something.
not sure on this one, turn up and wander in, if turned away then hell i dont know. i'm not big on making too much of a fuss but was looking forward to trying to talk to some of these people about ACC, what it stands for what it means, what it was set up for in the first place, trying to get them to see the damage to all NZ and not just us bikers.
