I'm with vodafone... 20gb wired broadband, toll calls & home phone line for $90 a month, plus they gave me a free cell phone and sim card to join. Pretty happy overall.
Cache jammed up....bhwhaha.
Top tip, uninstall all the registry cleaners...they're mostly shite. Uninstall all the toolbars, adaware, messengers, spybot, crapcleaners and crap like that. Just use one decent antivirus program (I personally like Norton 09/10 or Trend Internet Security)
Uninstall any programs you no longer use.
Remove your tempfiles (rd /q /s c:\windows\temp) and (rd /q /s "%temp%")
Remove unnecessary items from your startup menu
Remove unnecessary services (services.msc)
If you're using Internet explorer, erase all its temp files and reset the brower.
Remove excess startup registry items (regedit then the key is
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run
&
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run ).
Auslogics disk defrag is prety good.
To run semi decently, XP needs 512MB, Vista needs 1.5GB, Win 7 seems OK with 1GB.
There is a shed load of other stuff that can be attacked but that should speed up most PCs. Failing that, reinstall the OS might be the best option

The latest I had last week... number transferred to Orcon from Telecom, with a full LLU plan, on the day of hook up... mmm no dial tone, line rings but goes to a voicemail etc. Get it logged, tech comes out, oh, line wasn't plugged into exchange. WTF ARE THEY SMOKING![]()
