    He's no longer on our telly (no Prime here) so life is good

    yes - i find his smug, insincere "style" utterly vaccuous.
    he's an out-of-touch wanker.
    i always liken people who regard themselves a celebrity in NZ to small town beauty queens.

    and i'm pretty amused he has managed to take very few viewers to prime.
    Prime are cool however - as the do play the GP.
    we like Prime, but Holme's resignation from public life is overdue.

    Prime have overestimated the desire and ability of Holmes' core viewer demographic to change the channel from 1. You'll break it if you do that you know.

    I've never been able to watch him. I always feel like I'm having a series of focal seizures because of his staccato delivery.
    If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    Completely annoyingly intolerable.

    My answer to any other television related question is always: 'What Sky Sports Channel is it on?'

    Two fascinating comments from the head of Prime TV at a Business Roundtable meeting unfortunately not in the same context (I think);
    1/ He was disappointed in the ratings Holmes has achieved.
    2/ A section of his speech dealing with the difficulties of getting rid of under-performing staff.

    dont get me started about Brian T and his band of merry men.
    I spent an afternoon hurling abuse at them a while back.
