Poker run for a very worthy cause (12 Dec)

Jade Moffat is a wee local lad whose had more bad luck in his 3 years than most of us will have in a lifetime so in an effort to help his parents raise the $50,000 needed to get him to the states theres a poker run being held on the 12 of December starting from the Galleon Complex in Oamaru at 11.30.$20 entry etc,beers,BBQ,raffles etc after run.I had other plans for that weekend but after reading of this fellas plight i am going to attend this,not many KBers locally but you never know whos reading.

Nice work mate,should have thought of you up the road a tad and pmed ya,not sure whose organized it,just read about it on the noticeboard at work,as you say a very worthy cause.See you there.

Just for any locals that wanted to but couldnt make it,72 turned up and $5000 was raised on the day.Great effort.Makes a wee hole in the $50000 needed.
