Road trip achieved

Well i took the plunge and i'm back down the south island, stayed the night in hamilton on friday, caught up with the mormon few, then some fella there managed to give me his flu he was whinging about ( i knew i shouldn't have slipped so much toungue

)

Then out of hamiton at 8am and rolled into wellington about 2pm.... my ferry was booked for 255am friday... but well... i drove about wellington for 2 hours, and it is an utter shithole... oriental bay... people everywhere..... good luck to you if you could find a pub with more than 2 people or a place to buy a pack of smokes... i thought auckland was shit but jesus you guys really do have nothing entertaining except politicians...

anyway.... got pissed off with wellington so got an earlier ferry and got back on the road at picton at about 10pm and then drove through the night down to the mighty chch... rolled in at 1am, i gotta admit the twisties up kaikoura are frikken awesome... and to say the least interesting in the dead of night when ya don't know the road lol...

since ive got here this morning alot seems to happen, so far ive had errr about 5 beers, got 2 girls numbers (i must be the first fresh meet in this rural town in years?) , somewhere amongst that i landed a job which i start monday ... fun fun (i must be the first fresh meet in this rural town in years?) along with watching 2 girls have a cat fight in the pub (like i was gunna stop em? , it was good spank bank material

) and then a power cut....

And so concludes the epic journey

went from interislander terminal and for a drive around... went along oriental bay... i came back and followed a sign that said city centre.... i could see lots of big shiny office buildings... but no blatent signs further pointing to the city centre, i didn't have a map book so i surrendered lol, i did keep driving and went to petone and lower hutt.... they were both shit too.
