How long? Wellington to New Plymouth

I've got to drive up for work, and get there at 10am on a weekday morning. How long does it take?

Depends if you go at 50km or 100km per hour.

My guess would be about 3.5 hours - depending on Traffic and time of day. 2 if you were on a bike that doesn't go slow

    Welly - Wangers is 2.5ish
    Wangers - NP is 2ish
    Distance is approx 360kms
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

He had help. And he didn't have to go through your patch.

22 years ago, just prior to my nuptials, I left my flat in Mt Victoria Wellington on the stroke of 10:00pm and arrived at my folks' farm near Eltham at 12:56am. In those days there was a most excellent stretch of twisties north of Wanganui (the legendary Goat Valley) but the journey is otherwise largely unchanged. One may have also been privy to a trip from New Plymouth to an address in Mt Victoria Wellington in four hours flat. One wouldn't want to be repeating either trip in those times given today's enforcement. One would allow five hours for a trip from New Plymouth to Wellington.
