TOTO's Learner Friendly Summer Swim ride to Leigh - SUNDAY 29.11.09

What: Cruisy ride to Leigh for a bite and a swim - estimate route - CLICKY ...


Where: Meeting at Shell Westgate at 9:30am - leaving at 10:00am.


Who: Aimed at learners. Pace will be all legal (100km max) but non learners on bigger bikes etc, also welcome if you feel like a slow cruise.


Pace: Slow - 100km max on open road. There will be no heroics on this ride, nor any land speed reckords. No Valentino Rossis need come.


Ride is weather dependent - so if raining ride cancelation will be announced in this first post. Forcast appears good tho


EVERYONE please read the Group Ride Guide - on accepted ride behaviour and DOs and DON'Ts.


NOTE: Please everyone wear protective motorcycle gear, shorts and t-shirt not accepted on my rides. Also people misbehaving and/or endangering others will be asked to leave.

probly 2 - 3pm - no rush and depending on how much riding you falk feel like. We can always extend the riding (or shorten it by coming back via the tunnels)

I dont like to swim alone so if noone else is coming in the water it will be a ride only. We gotta go check the water temp in any case tho

Nice pick of the Ruakaka beach. I have deliberately aimed this to Leigh as it is more learner friendly and shortish, but if people feel adventurous and depending on the turnout we get we may tiki-tour that way too. Have a good one
