We have had quite a few Northerners commute down for Streetstock.
They claim it's good value for money when they consider how much good quality riding they get for their dollar. Just this weekend we had an Auckland dad and 13 year old son fly down for the day, they were over the moon with
bikes provided, full coaching, 3 training sessions, one practice/qualifying and 3 races. A bonus too was they get a professionally shot DVD of the days racing for another 5 bucks. Consider today's cheap fares and weigh that up with your "local costs" up north and you'll find out it's adds up very well. Another family from Ngatea travel down about 6 times a year. They love it. At the prizegiving the lady rider won "Streetstock Senior" for the levels series. Avalon Biddle commuted down for a couple of years. And when your young one turns 10, we can start them in our training class under "young junior road race" PM if you want more detail
Cleve, we might see you down here sooner than you think!
