    Talking 1993 zxr250c $5600 sold!!!!!!!!

    SOLD TO A LEARNER RIDER

Happy to pass on this awesome machine to a up and coming rider. You sure will be learning in style!

    Also available @ http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-252363508.htm

    Rego: 62TOO

Engine: 249 cc, 4 stroke, 4 cylinder, 16 valve, DOHC, quad carburetor.
    Transmission: 6-speed, chain
    Max speed: 127 mph
    0-100 kph: 5.23 seconds
    Horsepower:45 bhp @ 15,000 rpm
    Weight: 141 kg / 311 lbs
    Seat height: 735 mm / 28.9

Don't be fooled into buying the newer Ninja 250 or the Hyosung GT250R, those bikes will be left in the dust of these powerful classic 250's. Perfect for learners, avid riders, or commuters.

New WOF and 3 months REG will be included.

As an Aircraft Engineer I maintain motorcycles as a hobby, and this bike has had a full overhaul with the only exception being the motor which does not require any work. These are some of the things I did, over several years:

-Fairings repaired and repainted custom green.
    -New windscreen.
    -New mirrors.
-New front and rear brake discs.
    -Tires 80%
-Front forks stripped and re-anodised gold, followed by seal replacement and servicing.
-Frame and all attached fittings glass-bead blasted and either powder coated or industrial painted semi-matte black.
-Bearings replaced: steering head, swingarm, rear shock links, wheel bearings and any others I came across.
-Rims stripped and powder coated black.
    -New muffler fitted.
    -New grips.
    -New clutch and brake levers.
-Much much more that I cant remember...

All maintenance has been carried out using a ZXR manual and wiring diagram, which is very rare and will be included with sale.

Beautiful, I'm jealous. I love the 250's. Just a point you may want to change the 0-100k/hr time to something closer to 5 seconds, I think 4.8 seconds is a possibility.

Yeah you're right! The site I received the info from was incorrect. I had simply cut and pasted the specs.

Accel 0-100 is 5.23 sec (if the new specs are correct!!!!)

Hey, I have only done around 1000k's on it as I am not a daily rider, more of a fixer

I have an enormous envelope full of receipts and service history from the guy I bought it off somewhere in my wardrobe... will check to see if he has had that done. Either way the engine runs exactly as it should!

    Will post info asap...

    Thumbs up Sold!!!

    SOLD TO A LEARNER RIDER

Happy to pass on this awesome machine to a up and coming rider. You sure will be learning in style!

P.s. I found the service records and cam chain tensioner was changed at 40000k but mechanic didn't appear worried about chain itself.

Thank goodness I can do the work myself cos some of those receipts for seemingly simple fixups went into the thousands of dollars!

(are front brake discs gold plated or something!?!?!?!?)
