Wanted: NC30 stuff

Ok, I know NC30 stuff is really hard to come by but i need a few things. Mainly, some front forks and front wheel if possible. Can ya get new forks for the NC30 or do ya have to beg wreckers all over town? If so, whaddya reckon they gonna cost?

what's wrong with your forks?
CBR250 forks *might* fit. Looks the same set up on the front for both bikes

yer what the bugman said. like i know a cbr1100 front forks fit my vfr and the cbr 400 radiator is the same as well. ask the wreckers they generaly know (sometimes)

yea adam, i managed to pick up a sweet VFR and a "fucked front end" VFR both for $3,100 so decided to go the 4 strokes, but there's still a special place in my heart for your RGV... quick little bugger!

Yea i saw a VFR on trademe with upside down ZXR400 forks which looked sweet, he says it just took a wee bit of work to get them in but nothing special. I asked a couple of wreckers about NC30 shit and they tell me NC30 parts are very rare - but maybe they just didn't have any at the time!

What I'm trying to do is get the "fucked front end" VFR up and running as a race bike cause it doesn't need too much work. So anything that works will suffice.

Any other help with be greatly appreciated,

Cant help you wuth the front end but I used to race an NC30 and still have a full set of carb rebuild rubber gaskets (NIP ) , plenty of NGK race plugs and some jetting if thats any use to you , or any other lister.

To all those out there who love vfr's, if possible i would marry mine i love it that much, ive spent countless hours prepping it and doing mods to help her.
2smoker can vouch on the presentation he was blown away when he saw it at manfeild.
There is alot you can do to them but they re abit pricy, front end might be hard to come by, try Brice at Buckets and bits, in Wellies.

I got a bit o stuff lying around, wiring and shit. let me know what your after i can help.
What is wrong with the forks any way? Leaking? Have a gees at a photo of my bike Mike....see what i mean.

front forks and triple clamp cost me 300 a couple of years back off buckets and bits wreckers. mind you i was buying a fw other parts at the time. heh. still here sitting int he garage waiting for me to toss the nc30 down the trak and bugger it up or something.

mate my advise to ya stands--keep the bike for spares and buy mr slims already prepped race bike =itll save ya a shit loada heartache

I've decided I'm gonna sell the bike off as parts. It's the whole thing, minus a few bits here and there, mainly the front end is damaged.
so forks, bottom triple clamp, front wheel?? (not sure, still spins but it prolly will be fucked) front fairing, radiator (i think - doesn't look too bad though)... pretty much everything at the front, is fucked. - oh and the left fairing is missing too.
it's done 48000ish k's and everything else looks in good condition, apart from the tank which is dented and there's no rear tyre on the wheel.

gonna take some pictures and put it up on trademe at some stage - gonna sell the whole thing at once, dunno if i can be fucked selling all the parts seperately.
let me know if you want it and i won't go through all that hassle, someone from Kiwibiker can make me an offer.
