    New Met Service website

Just noticed that the met service has updated their website.

If you commute on a bike, like me, then you probably keep a check on the weather a few days in advance (at least to decide if you need your rain wear on).

The new website predicts upto 10 days out now (old website just did 3 to 4 days).

    Anyway, linky for those interested:

Wow i have a widescreen and they still manage to make it look squeezed in.

It's much better though (I like pretty things) there's just heaps going on.

More days means it will change more times before you actually get to the day your interested in?

I use this one http://home.nzcity.co.nz/weather/?fm=tm it seems to be no less accurate than any other weather forecast, but at least gives you 3 hourly forecasts.

    Flash new site....

but the accuracy of the the forecasts have been shocking the last few days. Yesterday supposed to be thunder and lighting, however dry most of the day with patches of sun and blue sky.

Supposed to go flying for work tomorrow so instead of relying on the Metservice I'll just look out the window like everyone else!

They're fook'n hopeless alright. The rain radar is about the only thing of any use on there.

    I prefer this site.
