    Invisible gravel

Had a beautiful run yesterday, Paihia - Kaikohe - Twin bridges- Maungataupere- Dargaville - Waipoua Forest (yippee)- Kaikohe- Home.
Much to my suprise sections of road have been repaired with a fine, brown scoria type stuff.
On small repairs the gravel is virtually impossible to see, coming out of the forest towards Omapere I hit a bit mid-corner which caused a sudden gluteus clench but nothing worse.
Just a word of caution for riders heading up the west coast...... Look out for the chocolate road!

Call your local authority. Pretty sure repairs like you describe are required to have signs.

Yes, you'd think that was the case right.

Seems old Fulton Hogan have cancelled that measure - savings maybe, I don't know. All I know is that it'll be around 6 weeks before my shoulder is ok again.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
