Kapiti Coast Saturday Ride. 5th Dec

During the Kapiti Coast Thursday night cruises we have often talked about doing weekend runs. So time to get the ball rolling and get a weekend run going. Would be nice to go round the block and have lunch somewhere in the 'rapa...What I would like to do is go from Paraparaumu over the piecock, then over the Rimutakas, then Martonborough and back roads to Masterton, then over the Paihiatua track and back to Paraparaumu...Total of about 330km all up

We could pick up wellingtonians along the way if some were keen to meet us at maybe the Duckpond in the Hutt....

Anyway is any one keen to do this loop with me next weekend???

Meeting point in P'ram would be the same as the thurs night rides...i.e outside The Warehouse at Coastlands....Hopefully roll at 9am

Just found out Central Districts Toyrun is on in the same day
Might have to see bout getting to Fielding by 1pm to tag along with that

thats why i dont run an L plate, less likely to get pulled! been stoped twice at check points and 1ce for failing to stop at a stop sign and they never said a thing about no L

Bren if you want can look at doing toy ride then either flicking out for a nice wee scoot around mangamarie back of pahiatua, ballance etc .. or V hill & Halcombe (bit further out of course)

will be at toy ride first though

Damm I start work at 4pm on the 5th otherwise I would be in.
Hopeful this would be a very good ride to learn on but also its a ride kinda set up for people that like the twisty stuff. Just ride to your own pace over, Like Bren does
The P Track has taken many rider for a skittle so be extra careful on that its very easy to run to hot into a corner.

Bren I was thinking of setting up a poker run for that ride could you let me know what sort of time frame you get to places please.
"In 2008 we have over doubled the number of bikes on the road than in 1995 and yet we where still under the amount of crash's had in 1995"

Start at 5.30 am bro, ride to taupo, do the motott track day and ride home that evening !!

You'll know ya done it !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
