Trip over the hill following a dodgy driver

    • Another old vid:

"So I was riding over the hill from Christchurch to Governors Bay when a rather dodgy driver caught my eye.
There are often plenty of cyclists on this road and he was doing some almighty dodgy overtaking.

What the video doesn't really show if that this is a very narrow road with a bloody great cliff on one side and cliff face on the other. If someone was to come face to face with this loonie they'd have no where to go.
It is nice, in a way, that he's giving the cyclists lots of room but where he chooses to do that is sheer madness. Maybe he's on crack or something ... You'd have to be to drive a Citroen in the first place "

You should put lights and sirens on your bike. You can pull people over and give them some advice about their driving. You could even make yourself a neat uniform and a little silver badge.

but, in all seriousness though. There was alot of dodgy overtaking there. Did you get his number plate? I would suggest sending them a copy for their perusal. They might be quite stunned.

Trip over the hill following a dodgy driver

Monday 28th of December 2009 at 01.45 PM. Some knob overtook me heading north towards the Sign of the Kiwi, this very same road, on a sport bike. Overtook me with his knee down (pathetic) on a blind corner. Absolutely NO visibility in the turn. You KNOB. Just think back to early 2009 out at Motukarara and three bodies on the road due to Knob-head riding like yours. Grow up FFS before you kill someone. And if you kill yourself I wouldn't care but it's obvious you are a selfish, immature wannabe who doesn't value life, yours or any other innocent persons'. If you had stopped at the top of the hill I would have dealt to you.
