DR250 stalls easily when throttling on
Hi guys, time for my third question in a row: :-)
My DR250 seems to not like being cold. It feels like it's getting worse to me. Even in the current weather I have to use full choke for the first part of my journey. What I am noticing is that with the engine warmed a little and the choke off it will idle just fine. When you try and open the throttle it will just stall. There seems to be a point barely above idle (maybe 5 degrees of throttle rotation) where the bike will just die unless you move the throttle REALLY slowly. Once you are through that point you can do whatever you like and it's fine.
Any ideas? I've run a whole bunch of carb cleaner through it but it appeared to make no difference.
Thanks,
P.
