Wellington to Palmy via SH2 (5 Dec)

Hi all,

Am planning on riding up to Palmy to see the folks tomorrow (Saturday 5th December). Have done this before via SH1 so thought this time I would make it a bit more interesting by heading up lower/upper hutt way, over the hill to Featherston, then up SH2 to Palmy.

I am still on my L plate (although don't sport it) so stick to 100-110km and am still working on my corning however was thinking if anyone in the Wellington/Hutt region wanted a nice easy relaxed ride, then they are more then welcome to join me. Could even just meet in the Avalon Carpark, do the hill, grab some lunch in Featherston and say goodbye from there. Whatever suits.

Will aim to depart Wellington around 10-10:30am.

Featherston's horrid. Eat at Wild Oats in Carterton, but go to Carterton via the middle road, and then go out through Alfredton to Pahiatua, and then do the Mangamaire - Pahiatua track route.
