Maria and I are no longer members and they tolerate us.

Ok, from the attitude on the last ride Sarah doesn't (we are lower than the maggots on 3 week old cow carcass), but the rest do!

Very friendly group and a good safe pace without being boring as well.

Wednesday just been ended up out at a Foxton beach cafe.

Not every wednesday night dude, The club organise cafe rides every fortnight and they are specific to Club members, sometimes we get people coming along cause they want to join the club, but other than that it's not really public knowledge hence why when you join the club you get the newsletter of all our events.

There is a few from the club that do their own Wednesday night cafe rides and these are every other Wednesday night.

    Indeed.

Heading up to Opunaki next Thursday to pick up the Daytona and drop off the Tiger if anyones at a loose end and wants a cruise. Bonus is that Kerry's installing a turbocharger into a Rocket which should be an interesting learning experience Just post up if you're keen and I'll put up a ETD closer to the time.

Two very worthy mid week rides. Take care on the roads and lets hope the idiots stay at bay Yes, now we must get those two Tigers out when work doesn't get in the way!

Got some stats on the Daytona earlier, nice.................

Had a great ride last night to Foxton Beach then up to Tangi. We were checking out the launching ramps for when I finally get the boat in the water. Nothing beats these summer nights riding thats for sure. Speaking of, quite keen to check out City Honda's Thursday night cafe rides http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...onda-Cafe-Ride

Weather dependant I'm going to head to Opunaki via the Para's, Taumarunui, and the Forgotton Highway tomorrow. I need to get a few more kms on the Tiger before Kerry gets to work. Anyone keen, post away otherwise I shall do a solo cross country

Excellent days motorcycling! Didn't quite achieve the kms I'd like to have but there we go. Headed out at 9 am yesterday morning with 19005 kms on the Tiger and dropped it off at Kerry's with 19537.

On the way I managed Feilding for fuel and latte where I'm sure I had a convo with Mike Nash about the Tiger Next up was Halcombe Hill, Marton Resevoir, Turakina Valley, Fordell and the Paraparas stopping at the lookout for 5 mins. Quite a few roadworks involving taking out some great corners. Why do they have to do that? If it ain't broke, don't fix it I say!

Straight through to Taumarunui for lunch then it was into the Forgotton Highway

I spent 15 mins at Grubs memorial. It's difficult to do this road without some contemplation and sadness at the loss of this man.

A short stop at Whanga then straight into Stratford and up to New Plymouth where there was some weather brewing. I took a quick trip to the waterfront and looking down towards Opunaki sure enough, looking ugly. At that moment the rain swept in so it was on with the wets and down the Surf Highway to be warmly welcomed by Kerry, Mary, and canine

The Tiger was whisked onto the lift followed by the always informative and fascinating catch up and coffee. Daytona unveiled and, hang on, what's that hugger doing on there? Shit says Kerry, I've put it on the wrong bike, better leave it there then eh Nah, just kidding, a wee present from Barry Huge thanks Baz, looks great

Turns out the Daytona has had quite a few mapping 'tweaks' and I'm asked to road test her. Not a problem! So in due course I'm on the road and wow, massive difference through all the range! Genius!

Get to Wanga's and am met by Barry as I can't remember how to get to the house

Great catch up with Baz and Mel and a great over the superb stuff taking place in the garage

Back on the road at 1130 in heavy rain but no worries. No and it's pretty awesome playing with what feels like a new bike at that time and place.

    Great 700+ km day out.
