    W.o.f

Assuming that it's a given that we shall be whanged by ACC next year, and that this morning I saw on text news that one out of three people are over weight and one out of four of those are obese (stay with me I'll get to the point) and the government are worried about future health costs, it occurred to me that there should be a WOF for people. That would be Warrant of Fatness, there would then be a tax on how overweight people are, thereby encouraging wight loss or, conversely, allowing those fatter one's to pay for their future medical problems. A bit like smokers do at the moment. Sort of user pays.Good idea?

In light of their "commercial" nature, would prostitutes need a Certificate of Fitness...?

I assume they would have to be re-certified if any structural modifications were made.

Fat tax. I like it, its like fart tax. Fat people fart more as well as shit more, than thin people. Short people should get a subsidy too.

Bugger me, being a tight arse, I think I would lose the 10kg.

    It works!! An effective tax!!

But if you die younger you receive less superannuation so they want you huge and heart attack dead before 65years

I'm all for a fat tax. How about a $20 tax on each packet of cigarettes as well? Hell ban the bloody things they are of no benefit to anyone.
