I just wanted to put this up. After speaking with a friend today who is pretty stressed out with the christmas thing worrying about buying for this person and that and the financial side of it all. Her and her partner are fighting quite bad and it is all just the time of the year.

So folks please take care make time for yourselves if you don't have enough money to buy for that cousin don't .Make them a cake (mmm Chocolate cake) remember christmas is not only about giving a present it is about family & friends time. So please take care and have a great christmas with all your familys

Cake is acknowledged as being bad for you.

It appears as if your scholarly reference has been misguided. "The Cake Problem" is nullified by placing the cake on a plate and then gently shaking the plate over a sink to remove the "badness(tm)". If you have ever seen a person panning for gold, the same technique is used.

To mix up your icing experience, consider buying a packet of Tim Tams and using the icing as "dip" for the Tim Tams.

Perhaps the "Tim Tam Slam" issue needs to be raised here...
