Post work day "relaxation"

Its just come to my attention that I have taken up the (joyous and rewarding) habit of having a wee tipple after work, I don't know what started this up again, maybe cause it's hot, maybe cause I like the taste, I dunno.

My latest concoction is pretty standard, a single nip of lemon lime bitters, 3 doubles of gin, 2 rocks and 2 slices of lemon, filled to the top of a tall glass with schweppes dry lemonade. Its fuckin gorgeous !

Anyone else enjoy a drop of something tasty after a day at the gulag ?

As I have gotten a little older (and well into my 30's now) my taste have changed.

Currently a glass - possibly two of a really nice sauvignon blanc works a treat.

Edit - Thats at home - out with the lads its beer and bourbon for the win.

Ahhhh ya pooooor old bugger..well down the 30's huh? Got ya zimmerframe sorted yet? I stuck a turbo on mine and it made a helluva difference...

Seriously, I dunno what happened between my 30's and the current mumblemumble's...except that I have lived long enough for some of the dodgy genetics I started out with to have come home to roost and made it BAD for me to have ANY alcomohol at all....fukkit!. Hafta get my kicks out of hooning on a murdercycle instead now...
