Rate the towns

Forlorn request I expect but non parochial opinions sought.....
Thinking about moving to a new town (business related) and was wondering in what order you would rate the following towns given that my main interests outside of work are skiing, mountain biking, running, surfing and motorbikes.

The towns are

Kerikeri/paihia
Tauranga
Gisbourne
Napier
Masterton/Wairarapa
Queenstown
Or stay in Welly

No question. Stay in Welly!
Or at the most, maybe Masterton/Wairarapa or Napier even at a stretch...

No brainer really, Napier.
Flat enough to run, great biker roads, close enough to the snow, enough hills close by for mountain biking, surfing wont be a problem either. Wonderful climate.

thats if you live in the norf, QT for the sth & as for the roads any where in the sth

What, Eltham's not included? What's with that? It's also easier to spell properly compared with others on the list.

Queenstown. It's a no brainer. Best skiing in NZ and those roads for biking in the summer.................unsurpassed. And on top of that ya not far from Old Riders abode. Worth moving just to have a beer with the old codger. Some pretty good Kiwi Bikers hang out in the Southern climes as well.

hmmmm...wondering where Nelson is on this list.....skiing, 90minutes away. mountain biking...everywhere. running....awesome. surfing....sometimes. motorcycling...awesome.

forget motorcycling in Qtown in winter

it freezes over for 5 months
