Im hoping that he buggered off down South or the like.

Well he came down here 2 weeks ago.
Had some idea that there was more work available in the southern vineyards than the north island ones.
he rented a room in amberley
Managed to get into a few pubs, where he soon found out that nobody liked him because he never stopped talking.
he applied for and got a job, but again he never stopped talking,
the last I saw of him was today, he stopped to give me some money he owed to a friend of mine he asked me to deliver it.
He said that he could not find any work down here, so was returning today to auckland
He did not look very happy.
