The Annual Muriwai to Mangawhai

CANCELLED

Aucklands own Coast to Coast.

Meet and Leave from Muriwai Beach car park.

Departing at 11am.

Destination is Mangawhai Beach (Tavern).

Will see SH1 for all of about 500mts from point 'A' to Point 'B'.

Reason is because, with all the Tar bleed around this area over the last few days and today we have steady rain. Dangerous combination.

Not very. Last time I rode on the back of one of them, I hammered the riders helmet and managed to get him to stop. Point blank refused to get back on again. Mind you, he had some sort of fucken brick arrangement that passed itself off as a pillion seat, and we had ridden down to Paeroa and were to Orewa on the way back before I pulled the plug.

Though, were you to provide one of them armchair type seats I may reconsider

Saw this post this morning and thought "great, what a nice day for a ride" when nobody else showed at 1100, I thought"hmmmmm...did it say the 5th or the 12th..."

DOH!!!!!!!!

Had a great day anyway just riding around and catching up with people. Have a great ride next weekend...I cant make it
