What has happened to people's sense of humour?

So I just got a PM from a newbie outraged that I dare take the pissout of myself or even women to be exact! Im not sure when *she* joined but I have been here for over 4 years.

Now I may be a little weird looking but I take offence at her sending me such a nasty PM. My boyfriend lufs me!

Is it just me or are more and more females joining and being way to oversensitive about things these days?!?!?!

Firstly, take it on the chin and thank god it was in a PM (which I see you've quoted in your sig).

Secondly, length of time on KB doesn't account for the validity of someone's oppinon I'm sorry Hels.

Thirdly, I vote yes, women should. How the hell they even learned how to turn a PC on is beyond me, it seems some bloke got a bit careless with his chain length.

No, no no I think its really funny. Ya know, sarcasm and all that... She does it openly on forums to me too so I didnt think she'd mind it in a sig....

I find that the average PC gets a bit grumpy if I lure him into my kitchen and pounce on him. Apparently not all men in uniform conform to my stereotype. (Admittedly my preconceptions are mostly based on male strip revues.)

Some of the PCs at my local station are threatening to take out restraining orders - or even charge me with wasting police time! The cheek of it! I say it's them wasting my time dressing up all provocatively like that then disappointing me.

Hels, whilst I don't know you I have read many of your posts and we also had that unfortunate ding dong ages ago (nowt to do with me - honest).

All I can say is that in my experience you do stand up for yourself and have a good sense of right and wrong. You also have a very dry wit, which I personally find very funny.

If someone doesn't get it, then it is their fault and not yours.

I'm shocked and appalled at how many women there are on KB just thinking about how many dinner tables don't have food on them, houses that are dirty or shirts that arn't ironed.. its a terrible shame this whole PC movement
