    Santa's Sleigh

Tonight I had the pleasure of dropping Santa off at the kindy xmas party. They were in the nearby school hall so at a text alert, off we set! I started the sleigh up, and as Rudolph et al thundered into life [V Strom], Santa swung one of his mighty legs over the back of the sleigh and set his full cheeriness on the seat [120kg]. The sleigh has never had so much weight on it and it damn near bottomed out straightaway! But Santa was determined not to jettison the sack of goodies so we set off across the kerb, fully scratching the bottom of the sleighs stoneguard and down the grassy slope towards the corner of the hall." Best do a lap of the sports" field Santa advised so being a good little elf we did about 4 football fields while the little kiddies watched amazed! So then Santa went inside to cross examine the kiddies re their annual performance and I kept watch over the sleigh to prevent burnage and knockage over until Santa had done enough cheer to warrant a hearty retreat!
