Actually I do fish time to time, and same for the river. Can't say it seems any different now than it ever has for me, but if a bunch of uppidy tree huggers that have never lived here say NZ is becoming filthy, it must be correct!

Pollution of rivers isn't related, and it's always been going on, a bit like climate change. I supose the last time the climate warmed up it was the result of too many methane farting mammoths... Beats tampered with, optimistic stats, though!
