Well you surely are not a fisherman or a river user. No ones talking about few lolly wrappers or cige packets here.

Still the fishing pretty good here on KB and Key is the number one 'worm' that I use.

Actually I do fish time to time, and same for the river. Can't say it seems any different now than it ever has for me, but if a bunch of uppidy tree huggers that have never lived here say NZ is becoming filthy, it must be correct!

about as much to do with carbon emissions as this does....... It was such a lovely strawman I just had to give it a bashing.

Carbon footprints is just another name pollution. It's all encompassing.

Gave it a bashing? lol, you're thinking a bit highly of yourself here. Judging from other threads its pretty clear you think you're an economist/ intellectual that knows far more than such feeble minds here could ever hope to learn, so I probably shouldn't argue, though.

Meh, any damage to NZs already shitty economic state is the fault of these scam artists at copenhagen, not some magic change that is the result of a few fossil fuels being burnt. Pollution of rivers isn't related, and it's always been going on, a bit like climate change. I supose the last time the climate warmed up it was the result of too many methane farting mammoths... Beats tampered with, optimistic stats, though!

Where did you ever get the idea that river pollution is not related? Where do you think the rivers end up..............on the moon??

Some people need to get a fucken life. Start worrying about how you are going to survive the climate change and then once you have that sussed start worrying about lessening your impact on the climate. We're fucked if we do, fucked if we don't - just that by jumping on the band wagon some people get rich while everyone else gets poor.
