If you have time (sounds like a long day), call into the track at Taupo.
The TRRS is on, over 200 riders entered, lots of KBers there.
    A very good idea Kendog!

I know at least two 'Naki KB'ers that'll be there watching

he generaly takes bookings for dinner, as he needs to get supplies from Gizzy, hes open 8 am to 8 pm, if you can book dinner earlier in the day you wont be disapointed, you may be able to get around this by ringing the Anaura bay camp manager and asking if they can place the booking with Pete for you, if you have an idea when you would be there by, I dont have their Ph No.
I can PM you Petes cell Phone No, there is no cell coverage at Anaura, but he goes for supplies every second day.

I indeed (along with 2wheeled Gasman) had an excellent run through the gorge today, great road and brilliant weather, hope you guys have the same.

Did Napier to Gizzy yesterday but in work van,was a good drive, and road looked ok,great views and all that stuff, amazing bike road, don't stop at Tutira dairy for an ice cream, bloody overpriced and undersized,if it was a fish you'd through it back.

You're welcome dude, like I said to you it made it all the easier relaxing at your place for a couple of days before hand and an ideal place to launch from although it was still a reasonable distance, still a lot less so than if I was leaving from home to do that loop.

Escorted Mr and Mrs Cowboyz out of town as far as Taupo today but only after an hour of riding to PN and back to search for his wallet which was found in his pants pocket, right where it should have been
Nice ride to Taupo despite the traffic. Truck lost his trailor just out of Turangi in between when Cowboyz and i went through and Monie and Flynn were following not more than 5 mins behind us, thankfully we both managed to miss the drama. Some poor soul on the desert road on his blue and white Suzuki had done something terribly wrong to have three police cars at his side with thier cherries lit up. He wasnt looking happy
Nice poodle home apart from that
    Have a safe one Cowboyz
