Really, if he wants to block you, he's held you up for what, 10 seconds. Big deal.

You could, if he got your plate, be done for criminal damage. Plus, if you were passing on the left, you were outside the law anyway.
Yeah fair call. I think the anger of the moment just took over a little

mmm, is it still illegal if the cars are stopped? I heard it was considered passing a parked car or something silly like that.

Trust me Ive been through this.
Or he blatantly cuts someone off whos doing 10km and gets no reaction so next time its someone doing 80,ive ridden for 38 years knowing full well that car drivers dont give a shite about my safety and try to ride accordingly. Not sure about the "adding fuel to the fire thing",what was he supposed to do simply say "no worries mate you almost knocked me off my bike on purpose silly me,ave a great day"?Rather than dent his car i would be more inclined to want to know what his problem was face to face,if that wasnt possible then yep,a dents fine.

    Wake up.

That sort of pathetic justification is no consolation to the next motorcyclist who passes him and ends up in hospital (or buried) because of it.

I know the feeling completely. Trouble is, getting angry achieves nothing at the end of the day. You get angry, loose focus and ride into something else a bit further on. He gets to tell his mates about the fuckwit on the bike.

Life's too short to get red mist over every fuckwit in a car who does something stupid.

It's a bit grey if you are on the shoulder on the left - if they aren't indicating right.

I would have liked to know wtf his problem was too but I knew that wouldn't have been a good option... would have just made me more fukn angry.

Last time i tried to talk to someone they just kept acting fucking stupid and asking me stupid questions like why i took off so slow, uhhh because I have been riding for a fucking week and i am still learning... and if i feel like taking off slowly i will.

Anyway, carbon fiber knuckles are useful for more than just crashing.

    We hope that wont happen

I personally would get the man's number plate ride off then come back in a car and smack his doors in, fair? Im fine with a person or two putting a bad name on me just not on fellow motorcyclists.

Whats pathetic is that you actually believe that a car driver woulld deliberatley do something dangerous to possibly injure or kill a random motorcyclist because of a incident previousley with another person on a bike.

I know I wouldn't do that - I know that my friends would not do that - all I can assume is that you live in a fucked up place with fucked up people that would.

The truth of the matter is - unless someone is a crazy mother fucker - nobody actually wants to injure or kill another person and will go out of their way not to.

Intention and outcome are not necessarily related

For there to be a outcome - there would have to be an action. And that means the driver would have to choose to do something to the random driver.

Again - I dont know that many people who are that mad.

Yup. This level of violence is not the real world, unless it is Katmans'. Makes you wonder doesn't it?

I admit there are some people who have no intention of keeping their emotional state in check, and will act out in any and all fashion against some other human when they have the opportunity to project their beliefs onto them, but these people are weapons, and will eventually remove themselves from society and land in prison, regardless of whether a motorcyclist provoked(sic) them or some 13 y/o kid walking home from school.

I do not admit that we should live our lives in fear of such people, and if that some people do so, then they might like to examine what they believe, where they come from, and more importantly, where they are going.

    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

I think the motorcycle thing was not really a part of the matter until you gave him the time of day.
