No we shouldn't, but unfortunately we are creatures of habit, and complacency is all to easy to happen.

That is why I have slowed down when I ride, as I have been riding for over 12 years and never had an off yet! I do not wish to have one and do not wish for anyone else to have one also. Therefore, yes, it does happen to riders, and we should keep it in our minds when we ride.

You would think that these types of things would cause the roads to block.
    Were the roads blocked.
How did the legs fall off?

Don't be such a rubber necker....FFS, a man has just lost his legs!
That is all you need to know...not every painful, raw detail. Take it from me, it would not have been pretty, nor painless.

Good and ready to go back to what I used to here, on a part time basis. I see that along with the old dipsticks, dribblers and those who post messages without much thought put in. There are plenty of new ones that don't know me. Like they said on the movie Jarhead, FREASH FKING MEAT!!!

Ive just read this thread and imo those who dislike this thread could be because they dont like the fact that riders in NZ are getting wasted. As long as people are saddened, despite having to biarch about a thead here. The fact is though, if your in the wrong place at the wrong time, then your riding abilities counts for nothing, nothing does. Your going to have the accident. If ppl cannot cope with that thought, then that tells me more about you, than anything else. If I could ride again, I would be the first one on a bike out of all of us. KBer would be far too policitly correct for me to ever take it seriously, if you was not able to dicuss the negatives of riding or anyone who has fallen badly. Too many warm fuzzies make me feel sick.

Just leave it until it's put in the newspapers.

That way it won't be terrible news to anybody like it is when somebody posts about it on KB, will it?

And Katman won't feel obliged to rant...

Make sure you tell the "unsuspecting schmucks" how you used to have several log-ins, and you would post to yourself telling yourself how wonderful you are.....

I'm with Inline on that one. Nobody is 100% safe on a bike, 100% of the time. Not even you.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
