For sale - four-wheel bike?
Bit cheeky I know, but while not a bike in the true sense of the term...
, we have our Nissan Pulsar for sale as we need a people carrier for the holidays and there was no way I was going to sell the bike to get one!
We were going to keep it forever as it's so reliable and cheap to own and run but unfortunately we can't fit everyone in it and selling the bike is not an option, neither is selling the MX5, which only leaves our little red Nissan...
We've owned it since new and were going to keep it forever, but we needed a people mover so we've bought a coach.
It's been the most reliable and economical car we could ever have owned.
NZ New with a full service history from new. Has all the usual SLX features such as factory alloys, air-con, driver's air-bag, nice stereo, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, electric windows and mirrors, central-locking and full-size spare wheel.
Other features are the split-folding rear seats, child safety seat catch, towbar.
The tyres are near new and the spare has never been on the road.
The motor has a cam-chain so no cam-belt to change. Also has variable cam timing so is only reading 2400rpm at 100km/h making a very quiet and economical cruiser. The automatic has a lock-up clutch torque-converter which operates on both third and overdrive so careful use of throttle and overdrive gives effectively 6 "gears" to use. Very handy on the hills!
Not often this NZ new model comes up for sale, especially a one-owner car, (2 reg but a genuine reason for this). So be quick as it's not highly priced!
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
