    Speights Pale Ale

This isn't really a rant... ok, I'm pissed off!, now it is.
Had some Speights Pale Ale in the Speights Brewery in Dunedin recently and thought, shit thats a nice drop!, now I'm back in Auckland I can't find it anywhere. Any fellow Aucklanders know who sells it?

OMG!! Bastards! I started drinking it on a trip down South a few years ago cause I couldn't find a Lion Red But I like Speights as my "cheap beer" preference (wouldn't touch Red now)

If it's not at Cardrona in Mt Eden, it's nowhere in town. B'stards don't do it in bottles anymore...send a PM to Flatcap and complain.

Real mates don't let mates drink Speights. Or Lion Red.

What are you talking about Auckland boy? I can pop down to my local super market and buy it

Mind you I am in Christchurch. We keep the good stuff to the South.

    Including the roads.

Me too and I'm in Tauranga.
Old Dark would be my beer of choice, but sometimes I'll do a Pale Ale or Distinction though.

Sweet, I'll just pop down and get some then... Aw crap! Thanks for nothing

So do they have to make the bottles bigger to fit all your 6 fingers around them? But at least it'd give you something to look forward to after banjo practice!

I rang Cadrona (Mt Eden) Reckons they've stopped making it a couple of months ago???? Nooo, Found the perfect beer and only had 2 pints... epic fail

Six Fingers? Guess that means your Mum is your Cousin and your Aunty huh?
I understand three thumbs makes bottle tops easy to remove.

Damned right! I'm attacking the South Island roads at the moment and thank goodness that the camber goes the correct way on the corners!

Will keep an eye out for the Pale Ale!
