Arrow Heeeeeeelp!! All computer savvy types please help!

Please don't both posting here cos I won't be able to access it. Can you text me if you can help (027-4618636) and I can call you back on my land line.

Here's how the sad story goes...I was bored on Friday and decided to d/l some desk top themes onto my PC - stupid me!!

Basically I've ended up with some nasty little bug on my PC called 'e-zula' and I can't get rid of it!! What it's doing is that any time I go onto the internet it inundates me with advertising pop ups (no not porn ). I'm using my flatmates PC at the moment.

I run my PC on Windows 98 and I've just installed Ad-aware and it found 538 critical objects!! The only snag is that the ad-aware programme seems to freeze after it's scanned the PC and when I click "next". Arrrrrrrgggghhhhh! I dunno what else to do. We've also tried another programme I have on my PC to wipe files and it can't wipe the 'e-zulu' programme. This all started on Friday

We also tried reinstalling If that's what you call it) my PC back to basics and it wouldn't let us do that either...oh yeah and you guessed it...I have an essay to finish that's due tomorrow. I can still use word but I've lost a whole day already trying to sort this out!

That's a particularly nasty one, even the removal tools are sometimes infected.

go here, it has info on how to remove it.

    Good luck with that.

I seem to have cured it...the reason my Ad-aware programme was freezing was b/c I was trying to deal to so many files all at once. Cheers for the help.
