We went to look at Harwoods hole and found the Goat track to get there.

For those further south pictures might help.

Ferry, how far, any gravel ?... grunt (with a rolling rrr)
Just head south, south, south. Turn left after the Balclutha bridge and follow the southern scenic route. (alternatively just take every sealed road to the left and you'll still get there)
    Time to ride

Come through Balclutha, turn left at Regional Ford/Shell Service Station.
Left at the 3 way corner in Owaka and follow your nose.
I will have a sign out.

    Alternatively, follow the bikes.

Don't you mean North North North? If I take every sealed road to the left I end up in Milford....

Sounds like that could be fun later in the evening

And holy crap, you guys are organised early, I usually don't know what I'm doing a week ahead let alone a year. However after the fun at the last one I suspect I will make my way down there.

LISTEN UP CHCH PEOPLE - RIDE TO KB RALLY 2010

Ok, there's a group of us heading away from Chch to Tautuku on the Friday. Will be leaving BP Rolleston at 8:00am sharp.

Route will be down the middle (http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=d&so...83&ie=UTF8&z=9).

    Pace will be fast, FTP!

This post should be enough notice for people to get their act together.

Righto Road Captain, I'm in - the forecast is looking good
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
