    Cliffhanger

I'm having a little trouble loading their website for some reason, so can someone tell me how much $ it is just to do a flying mile or ride on the Saturday? And is there anyone here who has maybe been there and knows how much riding, on average, someone would get in on Saturday

Are they running one soon? It's been a while since I've done the sprints but from memory I got a total of about 8 runs on 2 bikes. Pretty much depends on how many turn up but they are well run events.

Ohh. The Hillclimb. Yep I think March is it. One of the best events on the NZ racing calender IMHO, and doing both days is definitely the way to go. My recollection is you get about 6 runs per day, again depending on entries and incidents. Bloody good value.

Oh, aren't the mile runs and hillclimbs on the same date? I guess the two days aren't really different apart from your times being taken on the second, race day, right?

Traditionally the "sprints" are held in September/November and the "Hillclimb" in March. The cliffhanger is shit hot !!!

No, runs are done one at a time - theoretically the fastest rider could catch the slowest if they ran in that order but it hasn't happened yet (as far as I know)

Noobs welcome mate. We've all had to pop that cherry. The Hillclimb is a totally seperate event to the sprints. Held at a different venue with a different purpose.
The Hillclimb is a timed trial up an awesome hill. Looks mega dangerous on paper but in reality, most of us ride well within our limits and it's a huge thrill to compete against yourself and try to cut the time down. The rally on the saturday was a great laugh last year too with great food and an excellent band. I'm bringing the family to the next one.

Wow... That guy is going nuts! Is his bike just a rocket or are those rises in the road bigger than they look? I watched the andrew stroud r6 lap and I swear he wasn't popping the front up all the time like that. Love the sliding into the corners a bit wobbly, looks fun. I love the way skidmark has to say that he passed him also lmao

The rises in the road are enough to lift the wheel when you're on it. It's a lovely road.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
