    Reinforcing stereotypes

Yes, it was a female driver.

Was worth several laughs on my way home.

I didn't even know they had stoves near the beach, because there sure as shit aren't any cooking books.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

Couldn't they have taken it along to the boat ramp rather than pulling it up those rather jagged blocks?

    That's exactly what I thought.

    Adding injury to insult huh.

Probably, moved the gear shift into reverse (assuming its an automatic) thinking it was in drive, went to take off, and when the car started moving backwards, panicked. Thinking that the accelerator was the brake, pressed harder, and went over the hill.

Either that or she thought she'd be a 'boiracer,' put the shift in reverse by mistake and booted it.

I did the opposite when I was 13 - the first time I'd actually sat in a car with an automatic gearbox. Put it in drive rather than reverse - accelerated into the side of the garage but luckily only from about 1.5m back! The old garage door never really closed properly after that!
