Help - Honda CBR 250 won't start

Hello everyone, I bought a 1990 honda cbr 250cc RR few months ago. THe oil light is on and neutral light is on, but i can't start the bike. anyone has any idea? I am totally new to bike...any help is great. (I am at whangarei, 02102350920

You have probably checked this but I'm gonna ask anyway (cause someone has to).. Kill switch?

if you could give a bit more info i'm pretty confident that someone can help you.

does the engine turn over or just nothing happen?
when you push the start button do the neutral light and fuel light go off?
had it been starting fine upto this point?
has it been ridden recently? was it difficult to start before this?
