    Good movies.... shithouse sequels.

Yeah, it's a movie thread. Made by me. Darklord. Not quite sure why. But, ah well, here goes.

Name some movies that you know/like/love/masturbate to with sequels that turn your stomach.

I'll go first (seeing as I made the thread). First one that comes to mind is Mortal Kombat. I quite liked the first movie and the soundtrack is pretty cool (listening to it now which may explain what has inspired this thread after all) but the sequel I could only stand seeing about 5 minutes of it before I had to turn it off. That's how bad it was.

    Go forth!

To an extent the terminator series.

    Termiantor was good.

    T2 was THE BALLS.

    T3 was shit.

    T4 was somehwere between 1 and 2.

If there is ever a T5 it will really need to be something special to beat T2.

Jurassic Park: Excellent. Classic and very original.

The Lost World: Cool! T-Rex in the city. Can there be anything cooler than that? Seriously!

Jurassic Park III: This movie is simply worse than Godzilla's feces.

    Tremors: Cool. Classic thriller.

    Tremors 2: fuck it.

    Tremors 3:
Didn't see it. I was being unprejudical (and I stand corrected)

Tremors 4: Couldn't be bothered seeing it. Actually I couldn't be bothered thinking of seeing it.

Transporter: Semi-classic, decent action, original and humorous Jason Statham. Good movie.

Transporter 2: OK. Not bad actually. Physics defiant Jason Statham.

Transporter 3: Not too bad. Sir Issac Newton bashing Jason Statham.

Twilight: OK, not bad. Suprisingly it wasn't that bad actually.

Twilight New Moon: No, really, not my type. At all. Sorry Twilight fans.

Blair Witch Project: A truely realistic horror film. Very original and a mother of "hand held cam" videography. The best horror movie I've ever seen. A must see horror film.

Blair Witch Project 2: Utter crap piece of shit! Seems like some bored, gothic college students made it for their school project. Avoid at all cost. This is the lord of shithouse sequel movie. It plummeted, stone sunk worse than GM company in July 2009.

Rambo First Blood: Forest Rambo. It was OK. Not much action however.

Rambo: First Blood Part 2: The first Vietnam Rambo. This should have been the original I'll say.

Rambo 3: Afghani Rambo. More action, hence more awesomeness (but Rambo on desert? I don't think so...)

Rambo (2008): True Rambo. The Rambo. This is Rambo I had in mind since I was born.

Alien: Classic. It was quite good. Just remember that it's a 1979 film.

Aliens: More aliens. More the merrier.

Alien 3: Monopoly alien. Still OK.

Alien Ressurection: Best alien movie due to better computer animated graphics and effects (1997 film). And more aliens.

Alien franchise goes back and forth but overall it's very good. This sequel don't have a sloped chart.

I liked Salvation as well. T3 wasn't the best.

From what I hear, T5 is going to be in the same vein as T1-T3 in the sense of being sent back through time to the present, except it's going to be John Connor sent back to find the scientist who invents the T-1000 (played, funnily enough, by Robert Patrick).

If this is the case I do not hold out much hope for T5.

If that is what they want to play on then the cast and crew have their work cut out..

That is essentially T2 but with the positions moved around a bit..

    Could be ok.

I will hope for the best..

Maybe, but if they send John Connor back, unless they have some new invention type thing, they can't send him to the future again.

Obviously Robert Patrick won't play the T1000 but it sounds like he will play the scientist who invents the T1000 and for whatever reason, designs it to look like himself.

This is all just maybes at this point, I'll at least go see it and see if I like it.

I really liked what they did with Salvation though, being that the whole movie is set in the future. I thought it was really original. I wish they'd do something original for the next one too.

Nope. Well, not unless you count the Sarah Connor Chronicles, which doesn't really count as it's a TV series IMO.

Man I never watched a single one, from the first mention I thought the series could only be shit so never bothered to tune it..

I will remain a loyal T2 fan till my untimely death.

The scene in the "canals" on the Harley, then later with the mini gun and the grenade launcher. Absolutely the best movie scenes ever.

    EVER.

    EVER.
Season 1 of SCC was freakin' awesome. Season 2 had its moments but not so great.

T2 did have some killer scenes in it. The cop cars getting owned by the mini gun was pretty awesome.

I'm a big fan of T1 actually. Loved seeing Arnie pulling out his own eye and getting hit by a truck, then getting into the cab of the truck that hit him with half his face missing and telling the other dude in there to "GET OUWT".

    Classic.
