After the successful trial run, Mom has issued a NY invite to Nick the Prick to pop round to get decked...

ps - what a silly thing to do, Anne. Take it easy. Try not to damage anything else.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

The Mom stood on the burdened deck
    Whence Maha went to the shed;
The pain that lit the footsies wreck
    means serving breakfast in bed.

Don't think I'd like to be in your shoes on Mom's next visit to Palmy.

Heal up soon Mom and if you do need surgery, tell them you want it done under local anesthetic Doc's reaction will be something like
    Nunquam Non Paratus

The Mom lay on the bloody deck
    Twisting her face in pain
She called out to her lovely man
"The bloody thing has struck again"

We aren't laughing at you Anne. Really.

I hear you - my downfall (literally!) was a flight of stairs at the council building! Been off work since November 27 with a haematoma on my leg that hurts like a bastard, and sprained ligaments in my hand!

At least I should get some money out of ACC!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Go on the dole and apply for grant to get a new deck. If they turn ya down go to the media. That works.

    Hope ya mend soon.

Bummer, I hope you'll heal quickly. Alas, soft tissue injuries can be a long time in healing.

There's only one thing for it: ACC levies on soft-tissue...

Have a good one babe and put your feet up (doesn't sound like you've got much choice really). Thoughts kisses and Hugs from the Martybabe household.

Mum take good care of those injuries and heal fast. Have a great day Christmas Day and big manly hugs to Mark too.

    Cam and family.

p.s. Yes decks are dangerous! I tripped over the edge of the deck as I got off my motorcycle dropping my beer can into my marajuana plants.

So you got decked, then... Gotta watch those small deviants...

How cruel you are! That's a fate worse than death at this time of the year!

(Not the getting the Mummy, bit the driving to Thames bit)

The truth is that Mom has recently disovered Media stardom and her feet have not touched the ground for a while so her feet were on unfamiliar turf and now I discover that she will be incapacitated for 6 months......well that is what she told Markl....sounds like a classic case of BooHooywood
