Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Insanely I am not as young as I used to be that is what the Physio said today anyways State the bleeding obvious why dont you!

It appears my foot has forgotten what the ground feels like when it is on it and wobbles around like friggen jelly if I am not wearing my "shoes". This amazing discovery made last weekend when I wanted to relax at the beach and have a swim. Nope, I cant walk barefoot at all, nope I dont like walking in jandals, shoes are fine. Cant swim in shoes though so off to the chemist to buy some strapping tape. Strap the sucker up and yes I can manage in jandals and bare feet I just hobble is all.

Hence the old comment So now I have a nother set of excercises to do. It is progressing really well, but how friggen tedious is the process. Being good is a challenge that I am rising to

I'd pay good money to see you rising to the challenge of "Being Good" Get well soon Mom! Be boot camp for that foot otherwise.
Wish you guys had been in Taumaranui, I'd've liked to have seen the look on the trolls face when you let him have it.
Go look at the main thread for the BFTP, if you haven't already.

Thumbs up First bare foot walk!

So, I am sick of wearing "proper" shoes all the time. I have been working on general rehab of my foot and can walk with my soft soled slippers on, in the house without a limp. I can also take my weight on one foot for a short while too now. Progress is mind numbingly slow.

Tonight I got home from work and took off my shoes and socks! That is such a great feeling! Went outside and stood on the grass for a bit. Did a few laps of the back yard. Decided to test my bare feet on the concrete. I can happily report I walked all of 30 metres tonight, slowly and deliberately properly in bare feet on the concrete footpath!

Came home and put my shoes back on and walked 3 kms cos I could.

    Progress is sweet!
